Having spent some time renovating Marwood, an old sea captains house on the terraces in New Quay, we were keen to reinstate the sun catcher that was missing from above the front door. In common with many of the houses in New Quay the property was built in the late 1800’s so we wanted a traditional piece containing the name of the property, which was also the name of the sea captains ship. Chris was extremely helpful, using his CAD system to make a mock-up of the window, he then used his skill and experience to guide us through the choice of glass colour and texture. The final piece was installed in 2015. We are delighted with how it looks and get many comments from passers by just how good it looks.

Sometimes a 'limited' palette is really interesting to work with!

For this above-door leaded light, we chose a selection of clear textured glasses, opaque white for the lettering and then a sumptuos mix of blues and red.
